His parents used to work as flight attendants at Philippine Airlines. Gil has mixed blood with Spanish, German, Swiss, and Filipino ancestry. He finished primary school at the Montessori De Manila, a private institute inside the B.F. Executive Village in Las Piñas City, and secondary school in 2008 from Manresa School in Paranaque City. He then went to San Beda College – Alabang to pursue Information Technology but was not able to finish since he focused on his acting career. He is the cousin of Paul Salas and is also related to Dingdong Dantes. August 21, Gil took part to ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra’s debut album “Decades of OPM” together with Abra doing their version of “Totoy Bibo”. Hope Elizabeth Soberano (born January 4, 1998), better known as Liza Soberano is a Filipina-American actress and model. She is a member of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic Circle 2013. She was known for her role as Angel in the 2013 romantic comedy film Must Be… Love, starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. Recently, she previously played a pivotal role in the romantic comedy television series Got to Believe. Tagged as “the Leading Lady to watch for”, Soberano will finally have her first leading role in another romantic comedy series Forevermore and an upcoming film based on the Wattpad book The Bet, alongside with her on screen partner Enrique Gil. Jason Jimenez Abalos (born January 14, 1985) is a Filipino actor. He was also a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Batch 2003 at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology. Abalos is a member of ABS-CBN’s circle of homegrown talents named Star Magic. He was discovered after joining Star Circle Quest, a reality show in search of new actors. Abalos, 26, on August 7, 2008, won Best Performance by Male or Female, Adult or Child, Individual or Ensemble in Leading or Supporting Role award in the Young Critics Circle Annual Citation held at the Faculty Center Conference (Pulungang Recto, Bulwagang Rizal) Hall of the University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City. The award was for his role in the indie film “Adela,” directed by Adolf Alix, Jr. and starring Anita Linda (in the 2008 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival). On October 1, 2008, Abalos won the Best Actor in the 2008 Gawad Urian Awards for Endo. He is currently an endorser of fragrance brand Aficionado Germany Perfume with his own product Jason EDT (Eau de Toilette). Katherine Grace Cosme Abad (born May 17, 1982), better known as Kaye Abad, is an American-born Filipino actress. She is the sister of former child star Sarah Jane Abad-Contreras, who is now married to Kamikazee’s lead singer, Jay Contreras. She is a member of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic. She was launched as a member of Star Circle (now Star Magic Batch 3) in 1993. She recently starred in the television series Annaliza in 2013. Kaye Abad started in Philippine showbiz as part of the children’s show Ang TV. She also starred in numerous teen-oriented films and TV series, notably paired with John Lloyd Cruz. The tandem of Cruz and Abad is best remembered in the television series Tabing Ilog which ran from 1999–2003. In 2009, Abad returned to television via Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Bud Brothers. She took over the role originally intended for Roxanne Guinoo, who was supposed to play the lead role opposite Guji Lorenzana. Lorenzana and Abad were given the lead roles in the third installment of the Precious Hearts Romances series. Abad played a supporting role in Angelito: Batang Ama and its sequel Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto on its weekday afternoon program. Marlo Mortel (born January 4, 1993) is an actor and singer from the Philippines best known for his role as Nicolo Angelo Cortez at the television drama Be Careful with My Heart. Mortel is under of ABS-CBN’s talent management Star Magic. Marlo entered show business in 2009 as a contestant for the 5th season of GMA Network’s talent show StarStruck. At the time, he used the screen name Marlowe Pamintuan. He became one of the regular teen performers at German Moreno’s “Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman”, using the name John Miguel. In 2010 he was cast in the teen-oriented drama Reel Love Presents: Tween Hearts. There, he played the role of Uno, the best friend of Barbie Forteza’s character (Bambi), who becomes romantically involved with Leslie (Lexi Fernandez). He later recorded Wake Me Up (by Wham!), one of the songs in the soundtrack album of Tween Hearts’ movie adaptation, “Tween Academy: Class of 2012″, released in 2011. Marlo got his career breakthrough after he auditioned for The X Factor Philippines in 2012. Shortly after, he was cast as Nicolo Angelo Cortez in the daytime series Be Careful with My Heart. Jolina Magdangal (born November 6, 1978) is a Filipina actress, singer, TV host, entrepreneur and former teen idol. Magdangal started her career by signing with talent agency Star Magic and made her debut on ABS-CBN channel’s Ang TV on 1992. In her early years, she worked as a teen idol and also released her own brand of dolls. In 2002, she parted ways with her network and moved to GMA where she remained for twelve years. She later returned to her home network ABS-CBN in 2014. Apart from acting, Magdangal is also a pop singer and recording artist. She has released several albums with original OPM songs. Her most notable releases were Jolina(1999) and On Memory Lane(2000) which were certified platinum for selling more than 150,000 copies. In 2011, she married Rivermaya’s drummer Mark Escueta on two separate ceremonies. Overall, the pilot scored a 16.3 household rating (the combined It’s Showtime pilot telecast on ABS-CBN and Studio 23). The ratings were a little sluggish, rating as low as 9.2% up to a high of 15.8% (grand finals) and consistently lagged within the 10-12 points range (against Eat Bulaga’s 17 to the mid-20’s range) on its first few months but were a little better than its predecessor Happy Yipee Yehey! according to Kantar Media Philippines. On January 30, the program revealed a teaser showing its reincarnated look as a reformatted noontime show now entitled It’s Showtime, which premiered on February 6, 2012. The show simulcasted on Studio 23 (now ABS-CBN Sports and Action) during its relaunch week. It aired live daily on CgeTV’s website. Showtime and its hosts went to Cebu to have live shows from February 1–6, 2010. Voting for “Hurado o Burado” were suspended for this week as Sheryn Regis and Gab Valenciano both guested as special judges. A special episode featuring the highlights of One Kapamilya Go at Great America in Santa Clara, CA and the special Showtime episode with all the hosts and special hurados. The event originally took place on September 12, 2010, airing a month later October 17, 2010 exclusively on The Filipino Channel. The special hurados consisted of Pooh, Gelo of Barangay USA, Angelica Panganiban, Michael Copon, and Vice Ganda. On December 2, 2011, the show recently visit Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. In 2013, It’s Showtime hosts performed in Honolulu, Hawaii for their day long concert tour. Last September 2014, It’s Showtime hosts will perform in Canada for their concert tour as a part of their pre-5th anniversary of It’s Showtime. Showtime had been a successful pre-noontime show of ABS-CBN. Showtime hit an all-time high rating during its Season 1 Grand Finals last July 24, 2010. Based on Kantar Media Philippines, it garnered 35% national rating versus 8.9% of Diz Iz It! and 13.7% of Eat Bulaga. This was the first time that instead of the usual format which is after the wildcard finals will be the Grand Finals itself, The show had its Finals Week, which the viewers will get to know the finalists right before the actual Grand Finals. In October 15–19, 2012, 9 finalists for Bida Kapamilya were introduced for the entire week. These family teams are joined by their celebrity mentors to train themselves and to motivate each family teams. After Kalokalike, It’s Showtime edged out rivals with a new trend setter segment That’s My Tomboy on October 15, 2013. TVJ, along with Chiqui Hollman and Richie Reyes (a.k.a. Richie d’ Horsie) were the original hosts. During its first few months on the air, the show was in danger of cancellation. Not only did it face competition against the longest-running noontime show at that time, Student Canteen, it also lacked advertisers. In addition, TVJ did not receive their salaries for six months. Eat Bulaga! slowly gained top-rating status in 1980 after the introduction of the segment “Mr. Macho.” Production Specialists soon handed production to Tuviera’s TAPE, Inc. In May 1982, the domestic satellite was launched, allowing Eat Bulaga! and other RPN programs to be aired nationwide. During the same time, Coney Reyes joined the show while Hollman moved to Student Canteen. In 1987, Aiza Seguerra joined the show after finishing as a runner-up in the “Little Miss Philippines” segment. In 2004 episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, the episodes of Eat Bulaga from 1979 to 1982 had been lost, the first full surviving episode was in August 7, 1982, the third year anniversary of the show, however a clip from 1981 (the second year anniversary) are available on YouTube. On August 18, 2012, Eat Bulaga! aired a special episode celebrating its 33rd anniversary without commercial breaks, the first time in its history. A soundtrack, Dabarkads D’ Album: A Party for everyJUAN, featuring songs popularized by the Eat Bulaga! cast, as well as the theme tunes used by the show, was released in July 2013. On February 8, 2014, co-host Wally Bayola returned to Eat Bulaga in Juan For All, All For Juan, joining his partners Jose Manalo, Paolo Ballesteros and Valerie Weigmann for his birthday. Also, Wally apologized to the public after a sex video with an EB Babe was released. Due to public demand, Eat Bulaga! revived its traditional Lenten season drama specials during the 2014 Holy Week after an eight-year lull. Unlike its previous productions, the six heartwarming stories were inspired by true to life stories of former contestants of the popular segment, Juan for All, All for Juan. Two episodes were shown each day from Holy Monday to Holy Wednesday. On July 16, 2012, Indonesia’s SCTV Network aired the show’s first international franchise, Eat Bulaga! Indonesia. The network, which had considered securing the rights for a local version for the past five years, started formal negotiations with TAPE, Inc. in April 2012, with approval given in June 2012. On November 17, 2014, Indonesia’s new network antv is the new network to air the second incarnation of The New Eat Bulaga! In 1993, when TV Patrol underwent revamps, Pulstar was replaced by Ryan Cayabyab’s ABS-CBN News Theme. Such theme served as the theme of TV Patrol and the ABS-CBN News and Public Affairs division until March 29, 1996. The theme is currently used as a theme music for ANC’s The World Tonight with slight and more modern re-composition. On March 31, 1997, when Noli de Castro began anchoring as a solo, the newscast adopted Gari Communications’ Allegro from KPIX-TV, a CBS-owned TV station in San Francisco, California. When De Castro left the show for the elections, leaving Korina Sanchez, Henry Omaga Diaz, & Aljo Bendijo as the new anchors, The Filipino composition of Allegro was done, with elements of the orchestra version, it also added the rock guitar version. The theme underwent re-compositions in 2002, which was also used by TV Patrol Sabado/Linggo from 2004–06, 2004, and 2006, which was rearranged and composed by Jimmy Antiporda. The current theme music was introduced on June 30, 2010, which incorporates the elements of Pulstar and TV Patrol’s 2001 theme as well as TV Patrol World’s 2004 and 2006 theme music. May 2004 TV Patrol first aired on weekends as an occasional special broadcast. Its first weekend broadcast in May 9, 2004 featured news about the battle between the American forces and the Taliban-led Afghan forces during the Afghan War. It also covered the Oakwood mutiny on July 27, 2003. The weekend editions premiered on Sunday, May 9, 2004 as TV Patrol Sabado and TV Patrol Linggo with Ces Oreña-Drilon and Henry Omaga-Diaz as its first anchors. It in time replaced ABS-CBN Weekend News as ABS-CBN’s sole weekend newscast. During this period, the weekend editions used to occupy middle evening time slots between 8pm and 10pm. Ces Oreña-Drilon left the weekend edition for ABS-CBN Insider in 2005, and was replaced by Bernadette Sembrano. On July 8, 2006, Alex Santos replaced Henry Omaga-Diaz after the latter left the show for Bandila on July 2, 2006. The weekend editions stopped their simulcast over DZMM and moved to its present early evening time slot upon his arrival. However the Sunday telecast in several years remained in the mid-evening slots until early 2010. On July 3, 2010, three days after the first 2010 revamp, the two weekend editions merged into TV Patrol Weekend. On the first day of the new graphics being used for the weekend telecasts (August 3, 2013), Webb and Elchico began to stand like their weekday counterparts. The new theme music is a remix of 24 Oras 2008-2011 theme music & an element of an opera voice, eventually it was developed in 2010, which was used only for the commercial. On October 10, 24 Oras updated only its graphics. The logo on the bottom left corner is now square and features: 24 Oras current logo, Facebook page, Twitter account and GMA News Online URL. The news ticker became shorter than February 2011 24 Oras news ticker. The news ticker of the late 2011 24 Oras shows the return of the time shown on the news ticker (the former is 2006-2011). The headlines at the right of the 24 oras logo is rectangular with the red line at the right of the headlines. This also use a new font Antique Olive on their graphics, replacing Myriad font, which use on other GMA newscast. On June 4, 2012, 24 Oras launched its new weather segment titled I.M. Ready: GMA Weather (based on the advisory advertisement of the said title, and the branding of I.M. Ready), hosted by resident Meteorologist Nathaniel Cruz. Cruz has been the chief weather forecaster for PAGASA and is regularly seen in GMA newscasts for some time before he went to Australia. On June 2013, 24 Oras introduce its augmented reality graphics, it was used only on the beginning of the show, however it was no longer used later on. A notable coverage of GMA News called “Super Typhoon Yolanda”, covering the devastating typhoon Haiyan (international name), won its 4th George Foster’s Peabody Awards in 2014. In July 2014, the studio set was under renovations, with some of its props removed and its anchors doing a stand-up news delivery, once again. Last November 8, 2014, GMA News and Public Affairs announced its anchor from late-night newscast Saksi, Vicky Morales, will join the 24 Oras team beginning November 10 as Pia Arcangel leaves GMA News TV’s Balitanghali to replace her. Also, GMA Regional newscasts for Bicol, Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, Dagupan and Ilocos and will now adopt the 24 Oras branding. All of this changes are answers to competition of its long-time rival, ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol.
Before the launch of the weekend edition, 24 Oras occasionally appeared on weekends during special coverages (e.g. typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng, and the Maguindanao massacre) and the weekend before the elections instead of airing GMA Weekend Report or Flash Report Special Edition from 2004−07 which also anchored by Enriquez and Tiangco (So have been called Tutok:Eleksyon 2004/2007). Notable guest anchors (once appeared) for the special edition were Saksi anchors Arnold Clavio and Vicky Morales. On February 21, 2010, the weekend edition of 24 Oras was launched, replacing GMA Weekend Report. Several months after the drama had ended, members of the Faith cast and crew filed a lawsuit in February 2013 against director and producer Kim Jong-hak over unpaid wages amounting to ₩640 million (US$572,800), under the charge that he had misappropriated ₩7 billion for personal use. A combination of karaoke singing and a spelling bee-style competition, this show features contestants trying to remember the lyrics to popular songs. In each episode, six contestants will be selected from the audience to play a series of games that test their knowledge of song lyrics. If a contestant makes an error, he or she will forfeit her chance to get into the “musical chairs”. If a contestant is not in a musical chair when the round is over, he or she is eliminated. The grand prize is P1,000,000. It is currently hosted by Amy Perez and Roderick Paulate for season six and seven. It was previously hosted by Cesar Montano for five seasons. The house band, Bandble Bee, is led by Mel Villena, with several house singers called The Songbees. Dancing to the band are the house dancers, The Honeybees. Aiza Seguerra, on July 8, 2008, became a champion of The Singing Bee twice, but after her second win of the PHP1,000,000 jackpot, she gave up her throne to give chance for others. The same thing happened to Rachel Alejandro, where she gave up her throne as defending champion. She defeated her co-contestant singer Bituin Escalante. While the band is performing, words of a next line are shown scrambled on a screen. The contestant is required to sing the line in its correct order. Each correct line is worth two points that are accumulated for the final round. Contestants are shown pictures as clues use pictogram to the line they are supposed to sing. Only one song is sung during the whole round and all the contestants take turns in singing parts the song continuously.A correct lyrics is equal to one point and the song continues to the next contestant.If a contestant is wrong they lose the chance to gain a point. Since the show’s inception, house singers provide the main vocals of the songs throughout the show. By the end of season two, the main house singers were referred to as the “Songbees”. As of season six, none of the original Songbees remain. Five finalists from season one of The Voice of the Philippines are the current Songbees. As of January 4, 2014 episode, another The Voice of the Philippines finalist, Stan Perfecto, joined the Songbees. The Singing Bee is consistently topping TV ratings on its time slot. In the year ender NUTAM TV ratings results of AGB Nielsen Philippines last 2008, it ranked 6th in the Top Weekday Primetime Programs with 33.2%, and 5th in the Top Weekend Primetime Programs with 26.4%. Zanjoe Acuesta Marudo (born July 23, 1982) is a Filipino actor and model. He was a former housemate in the reality television show franchise, Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition and became one of the Big Four along with Bianca Gonzalez, John Prats, and the big winner Keanna Reeves. Marudo was born in Tanauan City, Batangas. His father, Zosimo Marudo hails from Batangas while his mother, Rosanna Acuesta is a Calauagenian (native of Calauag, Quezon). Aeign Zackrey Nash Victoriano Aguas (born October 10, 1998), known simply as Nash Aguas, is a Filipino actor. At the age of five, Aguas made his television debut on the noontime variety show MTB, after joining the program’s Batang F4 contest. Abalos, 26, on August 7, 2008, won Best Performance by Male or Female, Adult or Child, Individual or Ensemble in Leading or Supporting Role award in the Young Critics Circle Annual Citation held at the Faculty Center Conference (Pulungang Recto, Bulwagang Rizal) Hall of the University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City. The award was for his role in the indie film “Adela,” directed by Adolf Alix, Jr. and starring Anita Linda (in the 2008 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival). On October 1, 2008, Abalos won the Best Actor in the 2008 Gawad Urian Awards for Endo. Katherine Grace Cosme Abad (born May 17, 1982), better known as Kaye Abad, is an American-born Filipino actress. She is the sister of former child star Sarah Jane Abad-Contreras, who is now married to Kamikazee’s lead singer, Jay Contreras. She is a member of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic. She was launched as a member of Star Circle (now Star Magic Batch 3) in 1993. She recently starred in the television series Annaliza in 2013. Kaye Abad started in Philippine showbiz as part of the children’s show Ang TV. She also starred in numerous teen-oriented films and TV series, notably paired with John Lloyd Cruz. The tandem of Cruz and Abad is best remembered in the television series Tabing Ilog which ran from 1999–2003. In 2009, Abad returned to television via Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Bud Brothers. She took over the role originally intended for Roxanne Guinoo, who was supposed to play the lead role opposite Guji Lorenzana. Lorenzana and Abad were given the lead roles in the third installment of the Precious Hearts Romances series. Marlo Mortel (born January 4, 1993) is an actor and singer from the Philippines best known for his role as Nicolo Angelo Cortez at the television drama Be Careful with My Heart. Mortel is under of ABS-CBN’s talent management Star Magic. Marlo entered show business in 2009 as a contestant for the 5th season of GMA Network’s talent show StarStruck. At the time, he used the screen name Marlowe Pamintuan. He became one of the regular teen performers at German Moreno’s “Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman”, using the name John Miguel. In 2010 he was cast in the teen-oriented drama Reel Love Presents: Tween Hearts. There, he played the role of Uno, the best friend of Barbie Forteza’s character (Bambi), who becomes romantically involved with Leslie (Lexi Fernandez). He later recorded Wake Me Up (by Wham!), one of the songs in the soundtrack album of Tween Hearts’ movie adaptation, “Tween Academy: Class of 2012″, released in 2011. Marlo got his career breakthrough after he auditioned for The X Factor Philippines in 2012. Shortly after, he was cast as Nicolo Angelo Cortez in the daytime series Be Careful with My Heart. Janella “Jea” Salvador is the daughter of actress-singer Jenine Desiderio and singer-songwriter Juan Miguel “JM” Salvador. She’s under ABS-CBN’s talent management Star Magic Batch 2013. Jolina Magdangal (born November 6, 1978) is a Filipina actress, singer, TV host, entrepreneur and former teen idol. Magdangal started her career by signing with talent agency Star Magic and made her debut on ABS-CBN channel’s Ang TV on 1992. In her early years, she worked as a teen idol and also released her own brand of dolls. In 2002, she parted ways with her network and moved to GMA where she remained for twelve years. She later returned to her home network ABS-CBN in 2014. Apart from acting, Magdangal is also a pop singer and recording artist. She has released several albums with original OPM songs. Her most notable releases were Jolina(1999) and On Memory Lane(2000) which were certified platinum for selling more than 150,000 copies. Marvin Jay Cuyugan Agustin, better known by his stage name, Marvin Agustin, (born January 29, 1979) is a Filipino actor and entrepreneur. Overall, the pilot scored a 16.3 household rating (the combined It’s Showtime pilot telecast on ABS-CBN and Studio 23). The ratings were a little sluggish, rating as low as 9.2% up to a high of 15.8% (grand finals) and consistently lagged within the 10-12 points range (against Eat Bulaga’s 17 to the mid-20’s range) on its first few months but were a little better than its predecessor Happy Yipee Yehey! according to Kantar Media Philippines. On January 30, the program revealed a teaser showing its reincarnated look as a reformatted noontime show now entitled It’s Showtime, which premiered on February 6, 2012. The show simulcasted on Studio 23 (now ABS-CBN Sports and Action) during its relaunch week. It aired live daily on CgeTV’s website. Showtime and its hosts went to Cebu to have live shows from February 1–6, 2010. Voting for “Hurado o Burado” were suspended for this week as Sheryn Regis and Gab Valenciano both guested as special judges. A special episode featuring the highlights of One Kapamilya Go at Great America in Santa Clara, CA and the special Showtime episode with all the hosts and special hurados. The event originally took place on September 12, 2010, airing a month later October 17, 2010 exclusively on The Filipino Channel. The special hurados consisted of Pooh, Gelo of Barangay USA, Angelica Panganiban, Michael Copon, and Vice Ganda. On December 2, 2011, the show recently visit Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. In 2013, It’s Showtime hosts performed in Honolulu, Hawaii for their day long concert tour. Last September 2014, It’s Showtime hosts will perform in Canada for their concert tour as a part of their pre-5th anniversary of It’s Showtime. Showtime had been a successful pre-noontime show of ABS-CBN. Showtime hit an all-time high rating during its Season 1 Grand Finals last July 24, 2010. Based on Kantar Media Philippines, it garnered 35% national rating versus 8.9% of Diz Iz It! and 13.7% of Eat Bulaga. This was the first time that instead of the usual format which is after the wildcard finals will be the Grand Finals itself, The show had its Finals Week, which the viewers will get to know the finalists right before the actual Grand Finals. In October 15–19, 2012, 9 finalists for Bida Kapamilya were introduced for the entire week. These family teams are joined by their celebrity mentors to train themselves and to motivate each family teams. After Kalokalike, It’s Showtime edged out rivals with a new trend setter segment That’s My Tomboy on October 15, 2013. TVJ, along with Chiqui Hollman and Richie Reyes (a.k.a. Richie d’ Horsie) were the original hosts. During its first few months on the air, the show was in danger of cancellation. Not only did it face competition against the longest-running noontime show at that time, Student Canteen, it also lacked advertisers. In addition, TVJ did not receive their salaries for six months. Eat Bulaga! slowly gained top-rating status in 1980 after the introduction of the segment “Mr. Macho.” Production Specialists soon handed production to Tuviera’s TAPE, Inc. In May 1982, the domestic satellite was launched, allowing Eat Bulaga! and other RPN programs to be aired nationwide. During the same time, Coney Reyes joined the show while Hollman moved to Student Canteen. In 1987, Aiza Seguerra joined the show after finishing as a runner-up in the “Little Miss Philippines” segment. In 2004 episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, the episodes of Eat Bulaga from 1979 to 1982 had been lost, the first full surviving episode was in August 7, 1982, the third year anniversary of the show, however a clip from 1981 (the second year anniversary) are available on YouTube. On August 18, 2012, Eat Bulaga! aired a special episode celebrating its 33rd anniversary without commercial breaks, the first time in its history. A soundtrack, Dabarkads D’ Album: A Party for everyJUAN, featuring songs popularized by the Eat Bulaga! cast, as well as the theme tunes used by the show, was released in July 2013. On February 8, 2014, co-host Wally Bayola returned to Eat Bulaga in Juan For All, All For Juan, joining his partners Jose Manalo, Paolo Ballesteros and Valerie Weigmann for his birthday. Also, Wally apologized to the public after a sex video with an EB Babe was released. Due to public demand, Eat Bulaga! revived its traditional Lenten season drama specials during the 2014 Holy Week after an eight-year lull. Unlike its previous productions, the six heartwarming stories were inspired by true to life stories of former contestants of the popular segment, Juan for All, All for Juan. Two episodes were shown each day from Holy Monday to Holy Wednesday. On July 16, 2012, Indonesia’s SCTV Network aired the show’s first international franchise, Eat Bulaga! Indonesia. The network, which had considered securing the rights for a local version for the past five years, started formal negotiations with TAPE, Inc. in April 2012, with approval given in June 2012. On November 17, 2014, Indonesia’s new network antv is the new network to air the second incarnation of The New Eat Bulaga!
